Philosophy:

Teaching itself is an art form and should be expressed so that it is no longer teaching, but enlightenment. Many art forms are taught in numerous ways and every single artist has their own unique way of teaching. Some teach, some preach, and some create machines. Only a few can create an artist. At Gharana Arts, our focus is on creating wholesome artists with a deep appreciation for the classical arts of India.

Methodology:

Ravi Singh and Kasturi Mishra were trained in the traditional system of Guru-Shishya Pamapara. As a result, their teaching methodology employs this traditional focus with a strong emphasis on discipline, practice and knowledge. Classes are taught privately one-on-one, or in group sessions. Progress is constantly monitored and discussed with students, with written feedback provided at term end.
